Fold the legs in half, so that the seam is in the centre and back of legs. Pin the top of legs to cast on edge of body either side of the two 1st coloured markers (red yarn) leaving a 2st gap between the legs and the leg seam facing the back of body (See photo 2). Push the legs inside the body and pin base to body with two stitches overhanging each side of legs. (See photo 3). Sew base and legs to body. Turn body right side out through opening and stuff body and head firmly. Leave the opening in body open until nose and ears have been sewn on head.

Ears: Pin the front and back pieces together. Sew row edges together from cast on edge up to top of ear and back down to cast on row. Turn work to right side and fold ears in half lengthwise and oversew the first 4 rows together from the cast on edge.
