This is a new extension to the Creative Writing section, added in April 2005. It is a real challenge for your brain to tackle!

Here are two pictures. Each is a small section of a much larger photograph I took 55 years ago. You can set your brain in motion and do two things, at least:

— Work out what the pictures actually show. Very few people can guess when they first try. Only one or two have guessed correctly on their second try.*

— Let your imagination work. Work out what the pictures might show, and then write about what  your imagination tells you.
