Here's a sample puzzle for you to try.

In this Brainbender, your aim is to make a series of five different words. Each box in column 1 asks you for a four-letter word to fit a definition or description. The next box, in column 2, asks you to use that word as an anagram but also to add one more letter, and make a new word to fit the description or definition. This continues in columns 3, 4 and 5.
The first row has been done for you, showing the answers.
Hint: You don't have to start in column 1. You might be able to recognise a word in another column and work backward.
