Sibrun's Premium Pedigree Builder Installation:
Download and run the file: "Sibrun.msi"
A number
of people are migrating to Microsoft VISTA so, we have decided to rewrite
the install program for Sibrun's "Premium Pedigree Builder" mainly
to cope with some of the difficulties some people were having with
the installation and Vista. We have just completed testing with Microsoft XP
and VISTA version is not too far away-
Windows XP
After you have downloaded the file
"Sibrun.msi" ( a Windows
executable file) run the file (double click on "Sibrun.msi")
this will bring you to the install program ( see screen shots shown
below) .
When you have downloaded and run
the file "Sibrun.msi" you will see the above
screens just make sure the
installation is installed on
C:\Program Files\Sibrun directory.
Windows XP
Some important Notes
You must install this
program as the "administrator" after
installation the required directories
will exist on your computer and the
program will be ready to run, however
some people have multiple users for the
one computer this is where problems
will arise
Install our programs
as the "administrator" The program
installs to C:\Program Files\Sibrun
This is where the file
"Sibrun1.exe" resides. This file is used
to launch the program.
This is
our light version. Download the file "KennelM.exe" Sibrun's
"Kennel Management" program, save the file "KennelM.exe"
to a folder on your hard drive (remember the folder location) after
the download is completed, go to the folder and click on the
downloaded file "KennelM.exe" to open it. The following WinZip Self-Extractor box will
appear.
Click the unzip button to unzip all the files needed to
install Sibrun's "Kennel Management"
to the default folder "C:\Dog
Programll" once all the files have
been decompressed, close WinZip
Self-Extractor program.
Go to the folder
"C:\Dog
Program" and run the file
"Setup.exe" to complete the
As we mentioned before Sibrun's "Premium Pedigree Builder" program
is larger (PedBuilder.exe file size 14.7MB)
downloading
large files can be a headache for some. Downloading should
take about 10min assuming you have an ADSL connection. If you run into
problems, try using a download management type
program such as
