God and Evil: the Christian Response to Sin The purpose of part one of this paper is to examine how God deals with evil through His perfect judgments. Part two argues that as Christians we must have the same perspectives and approach to evil and sin as our heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, the Son of God, have. This may necessitate changes in our attitudes towards evil and in how we deal with sin within our own lives and in circles of the society in which we live. Our human notions of good and evil, love and hatred, mercy, judgment and punishment may not necessarily be reflective of the mind of God. However, if we claim to be followers of the Way, our standards of righteousness must be in godly harmony with the perfect righteousness of God (Mt 5:48).
A History of Tithing "A History of Tithing" challenges the Christian's application of many biblical principles. All of us with experiences in tithe-collecting churches know how this seems to affect so many vital matters--the role of members and ministry, relationships between members and ministry, how and what gospel is preached, how administration is organized, and more. All are profoundly affected by how money is collected and given. Because of the paper's compactness, length, as well as other considerations, every interested person will find weeks of wonderful study in checking all scriptures and looking at various points alluded to in greater depth.
The Immutability of God A study of the unchanging nature, attributes and purpose of the Almighty God in His Plan for His people, contrasted with prevailing erroneous ideas about God and His Elect Son extant in the Churches of God.
Abib and the Biblical Calendar: Biblical Reasoning Pertinent to Determining Abib An exposition of how the month of Abib is determined to begin the Biblical Calendar.
Earth and Environment: What the Bible says to Christians about our Environment:
Part 1
Such a vast topic needs answers based on principles from the Scriptures. Initial questions raised are used to begin this. The origins of personal and collective responsibility are proposed.
Earth and Environment:
Part 2
Failures in personal and collective responsibilities, as foreknown by God, are causal factors in the unfolding of Old Testament prophecies. The connectedness of physical, spiritual and cultural environments is shown.
Earth and Environment:
Part 3
Old Testament and New Testament prophecies, though derided as apocalyptic, are conclusive in their exposure of mankind's rebellion and inability to resolve environmental issues: physical, spiritual and cultural.
