Identity and Purpose

Our faith is being built on the foundation of the patriarchs, prophets, apostles, and Jesus Christ (Eph 2:19-22), and the God they worshipped (Jn 1:18; 17:3; 20:17; Col 1:2-4; Rev 1:5-6). Therefore, we strive to uphold the truths of the Scriptures (Is 8:20), to be obedient to the will of God (Rev 12:17; 14:12; Mt 4:4), and to be ever willing to grow in the grace and knowledge of the Son of God (1Pet 1:2-5; 2Pet 3:18; 1Cor 12:3-12; Ps 19:14).

Despite the scattering of the sheep (Jer 23:1-2,20; Ezk 13:2-6,22-3; 34:2-6,22-3), we, as disciples of the Way (Jn 14:6; Acts 19:9), have God-given responsibility to share the grace given (Gal 6:10; Heb 13:1,16; Jn 10:14-6; 16:33), so vital to daily spiritual life (Mt 5:48; 1Jn 3:1-3; Rev 22:20-1).
