Frequent service maps
Frequent service maps can make public transport more understandable, especially in areas served by several less frequent routes that combined to provide a higher service along a common corridor. Patronage is also increased as a frequent service is always more attractive than one that is less frequent.
The following are example maps for all parts of Melbourne (gif or pdf, 50 - 150k):
Frequent service map for Melbourne West (October 2010)
Frequent service map for Melbourne North (October 2010)
Frequent service map for Melbourne North-East (October 2010)
Frequent service map for Melbourne South-East (August 2010)
Frequent service map for Melbourne South-East (October 2010)
Frequent service map for Melbourne Inner (October 2010)
Please not the above maps were drawn only to prove the concept and are not necessarily current. For current public transport information please visit PTV.
