The martingale collar is designed to tighten but not choke should the dog decide to back out of it’s collar.
The smaller loop is often referred to
as the "the
handle" and has a D-ring on it. When a leash is attached to the D-ring,
the outer loop closes tightly enough to prevent the dog sliding
backward out of the collar. The restraint is firm and secure, but never
pinches or gags the dog. When fully closed, the dog can still breathe
easily and comfortably.
Also available are standard collars
that slip over the dog's head and
adjusts to fit comfortably using the slider, therefore avoiding the use
of a bulky buckle.
All collars are fully adjustable, satin lined and made from a strong but flexible poly web with nickel plated welded steel hardware. The thread used is bonded twisted nylon and 100% polyester.
I can make collars for any occasion
using a fabric
of your choice in widths of either ¾ inch, 1 inch, 1½
inch or 2 inch.

Trims are continually being updated. Some trims are available in other colours.
One inch plain polywebbing collars are also available in various colours.

Greyhounds as Pets, Greyhound Racing W.A.
I was inspired to start making martingale collars after my husband and I adopted our beautiful greyhound Lestat in 2002 and found it impossible to purchase a decorative martingale collar in Australia. Meeting a greyhound is an unforgettable experience. They are incredible animals who truly make wonderful pets.
