Our transport to the nats...
and yep they made the 1200+km round trip no problem....exept
someone who will remain anonymous forgot to do up the clutch
bolts on the EH... which by the way was finished 'late' the night
before we left. Well the clutch started to slip mid-way to
canberra... hmm how come the tacho goes up fast when your driving
uphill and you try and accelerate???. Also interesting is trying
to replace these clutch bolts while the car is parked on a gutter
because your ramps are at home. In fact there was only 2 left by
canberra and they were finger tight.. hehe. Even more interesting
is 6 guys in one Datto driving across town to Sizzler for
dinner... hehe. I was lucky I got to drive as the car was mine
but the back seat was rather cozy indeed :). While im here id
like to thank holden for having removeable inspection covers on
their bellhousings.....phew!.... and dellow automotive (who only
do gearboxes!) who rebuilt the celica 5-speed and fucked up the
shift on 1st and 2nd gears... but its probably 5 years out of
warranty now...Next time tell the apprentice to mark all the
pieces.. and put them back the same way!
