We stayed at the Rama Baruna on our last visit to Bali. Its a nice quiet hotel situated in Tuban next door to the Risata and across the road and down a little from the Holiday Inn. |
Hotel is rated 3+ stars and the rooms are "Bungalow style" with 2 rooms to a block. Standard is either two single beds or a king size bed and each room has ample space for a 3rd bed. They have airconditioning seperate private bath/shower, TV radio, ISD telephone and mini bar/fridge. |

The Pool is a good size and has a childrens area at one end and a deeper area for adults at the other end. There is a large swim up bar with enough seats for a small crowd. Seperating the two pool depths are 2 water jets that both parents and children have fun with. The pool is directly in front of the restaurant so you can have a snack/lunch and a bintang and still keep an eye on the kids. An important thing to note is there is NO offical closing time for the pool so long as you aren't disturbing sleeping guests. |

The Restaurant has a good range of choices and the food is fresh and yummy. At nights when we were there, they had different entertainment every night in the form of a vocal/gutarist or vocal/keyboard and on Sunday nights they had a Traditional Balinese Dance Troup. |

Although not directly on the beach its only a short 2 min stroll to Tuban Beach. This is a great place to watch the sun setting and it is also a favourite place for the locals to gather on a Sunday afternoon for a game of soccer. |

The S.A. Cafe is directly across the road from the Rama Baruna Hotel. We found it to be one of the cheapest in Bali. There is also an internet cafe next to the S.A.Cafe. |

A little further down the road away from the beach and again on the opposite side from the hotel, you will find the "Tuban Lotus Pond" ( Part of the Lotus Pond chain ) This restaurant has a good range of meals and very friendly staff. |
