QTM Mast Principal Dimensions

 Mechanical Specifications

Mast Telescopic Sections:
Heat-treated aluminium alloy.

Castings:
Die cast aluminium alloy, LM6

Finishes:
Finish, zinc plated and passivated.
Paint, standard colour yellow.
Other colours to special order, including NATO Green.
Mast sections natural finish or clear anodised as indicated.

Operating Temperatures:
+55 to -40 degrees C (Dry).
All masts have section clamps for semi-permanent erection. QT Classic Series masts do not have keyed sections, however the locking collars can be used to prevent individual section rotation.

QT Classic masts are often used unguyed, depending on the mast height and wind conditions. However, whenever strong winds may occur, guys must be used,
although some models are rated to 128 Km/Hr un-guyed.. A range of guying
accessories is available for all QT Classic Series masts.

QT Classic Specific Accessories are available, including internal and external vehicle mounting brackets, and Field Mounting Tripods.

QTM mast and Mark IV Field Tripod
A QT Classic mast mounted on a Mark IV Tripod ready for erection. This 6 metre
model QT6/HP mast will be at full height in 20 seconds using its
side mounted handpump. A lightweight tripod, the Mark V Tripod, is also available
for use on the smaller QT Classic masts up to 6 metres.
