The Will of Abraham Buttimer

I Abraham Buttimer of Salmon Beach in the Parish of Bathurst and County of Gloucester and Province of New Brunswick Canada (Farmer) make my last will and testament

I give devise and bequeath my estate and property — real and personal as follows; that is to say, to my son Frederick William.  I give devise and bequeath the place that I  now reside on including a back-lot situated at Salmon Beach in the Parish / Couny / Province aforesaid including all the buildings thereon also all the: stock on said property also all the Farmer’s implements on said piece of land.  My wife Jane Buttimer is to get her living of said Farm during her life with privilege to stay in the House.  To my son (*1) Robert H(enry) Buttimer I leave One Hundred Dollars To my daughter(*2) Mary Ann I leave One Hundred Dollars To my son (*3) John Buttimer I leave One Hundred. Dollars. To My son (*4) James I leave One Hundred Dollars. To my Daughters (*9) Adeline I leave Two Hundred Dollars. To my Daughter (*6. Herman’s gmother) Catherine I leave One Hundred Fifty Dollars, $150.00. To my Daughter *8 Caroline I leave One Hundred Dollars. To: my Daughter (*5) Eliztabeth Jane I leave One Hundred Dollars and Thirty Dollars to her son Charles Williamson To Harry Williamson I leave Ten Dollars To Ralph D. Williarnson I leave Ten Dollars To my Daughter (*7) Emma I leave One Hundred and Twenty Five Dollars. To my Daughter (*11) Ida I leave Three Hundred Dollars and also One Organ To my sister Mrs. Dealey I leave Ten Dollars. To my sister Mrs.Good I leave Ten Dollars To my sister-in-law Mrs Good I leave Ten Dollars. To Mrs. Matthew Smith formerly Martha Norton? I leave Ten Dollars.

I appoint James Buttimer my brother, Merchant of Bathurst, My wife Jane Buttimer of Salmon Beach, and Mrs. Samuel Williarnson, executors of this my will. to witness whereof I have signed and sealed and published and declared this instrument as my will at Salmon Beach on this Second day of May in the year of our Lord. One Thousand Eight Hundred. and Ninety Two.
