William (Bill) Nestor Sheehy married Mary Bridget (Minnie) Egan, daughter of Thomas Egan and Mary Toohey, on 21 November 1911 at St Joseph's Church, South Yarra, Victoria, Australia.2 William (Bill) Nestor Sheehy died on 6 March 1951, at Seymour, Victoria, Australia, at age 76.3 William was buried at at Seymour Cemetery, Seymour, Victoria, Australia.      He emigrated in 1892 from Co Limerick, Ireland, travelling on the (ship unknown). In 1911 William (Bill) Nestor Sheehy was living at at 113 Hodkinson Street, Clifton HIll, Victoria. He began military service in 1914 WWI. William (Bill) Nestor Sheehy was a linesman with the PMG (Post Master General's Department). In circa 1930 William (Bill) Nestor Sheehy was living at at 99 Princess, Carlton, Victoria, Australia. Research Notes: The baptism sponsors were John Sheehy and Ellen Nestor. At age 17 (1892) Bill left Duncaha, County Limerick and emigrated to New Zealand. He possibly stayed with his uncle, Thomas Nestor, who was living at Palmerston NZ. He arrived in Melbourne 1895.

Catherine Nestor #3106 is assumed to be an aunt. The relationship to Patrick Mulqueen unknown.1 She was the daughter of Patrick Sheehy and Margaret Mary Nestor. Mary (Mollie) Sheehy married James O'Brien, son of Patrick O'Brien, in 1904 at Victoria, Australia.2 Mary (Mollie) Sheehy died on 7 August 1950, at North Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, at age 73.3 Mary was buried at at Melbourne General Cemetery.      She emigrated in 1894 travelling on the Oruba. Margaret (Peg) Sheehy died on 31 July 1941, at St Elvins Private Hospital, East Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, at age 58 registered Fitzroy.2 Margaret was buried at at Melbourne General Cemetery, Carlton.       She emigrated circa 1906 from Ireland, travelling on (ship unknown). Research Notes: After Cornelius died the house was left to his nephew, Frank O'Connor. This is the house we we visited in 1987.

Bridget (Deliah) O'Keeffe was christened on 31 December 1864 at Rathkeale Parish, Rathkeale, Co Limerick, Ireland.1 She was the daughter of Patrick O'Keeffe and Mary O'Reilly. Bridget (Deliah) O'Keeffe married James Cummane, son of Daniel Cummane and Mary Sheehy, in 1895 at Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.2 Bridget was buried at at Fawkner Cemetery, Melbourne. She died in July 1962, at Victoria, Australia, at age 97.3      She emigrated in 1884 travelling on the (ship unknown). Bridget (Deliah) O'Keeffe and James Cummane were living at; 605 Drummond Street, Carrlton, Victoria, Australia. Research Notes: Patrick O'Keefe, Delia's older brother and the eldest O'Keefe child, sent for Delia (age fifteen in 1884). He paid for her passage to Sydney, NSW, Australia, where she helped look after his family for five years after which she came to Melbourne. There she met James Cummane at a party, held by the Irish community in the fishing village of Sandridge (Port Melbourne). They married in 1895. James had emigrated from Shanagolden in 1893. Delia Cummane's birthday, 31 Dec 1864, appear to be questionable. Perhaps it should be 1869 or 1870. The photograph [see Marie's book] of Patrick and Mary O'Keefe was sent by Bill Blackley and is thought to be taken circa 1860. The family lived in Carlton at various addresses - Rathdowne Street, Neale Street, Station Street and finally at Drummond Street.

Research Notes: When Patrick came to Melbourne (abt. 1887) with his brother Ned, he lived in Carlton with Thomas and Bridget Gaynor. Sometime after he went to live in New Zealand but must have returned as he is thought to have married at a late age in Melbourne, Victoria.

Michael and Mauruce are assumed to be related, possibly brothers. Maurice Cummane rented land at Moneymohill in the parish of Dunmoylan from (?) and John Enright. James rented land at Moneymohill in the parish of Dunmoylan from John Frawley and Michael Cummane rented land at Park in the parish of Dunmoylan from John Morgan.
