Free Narrow Band TV Software, NBTV, update 17 Dec 2007
These pages are maintained by Bruce Johnson VK3MN they are to promote the use of NBTV, Narrow Band TV a step up from SSTV these pix MOVE
ZL2AFP and others have been busy and written some programs for us
TX programs, these are black and white only
you need windows, a sound card and a frame grabber and can be found at
http://www.alphalink.com.au/~brucej/Txfmtv.exe just plug in some live video and away you go.

the FMscreen program will take a small part of the desktop and turn it into a narrowband TV signal and can be found at http://www.alphalink.com.au/~brucej/FMscreen.exe
This is a screen shot of the FMscreen program you will notice the tx window is colour but sends B/W
move the slide bars to the part of the desktop you want
RX program, only black and white 32 lines
This program will receive pix from the two tx programs above all you need is a sound card
it takes a bit of fine tuning to make stable, I did it on the bench from pc to pc first, with line snyc on

ATTENTION : NEW 60 LINE NBTV SOFTWARE BY HB9TLK
This new software is afsk at 1 fps, its easy to use, has TX and RX buttons, needs good level of RX audio, works with video capture card and web cam 160x120 only, the colour frame on right side is the TX window, the B/W frame on left is RX window

Great news. Con zl2afp has been busy and has made some new software, its Colour medium scan NBTV
I have only tried this briefly it comes with a very good help file so you should be able to get it going, it needs a sound card and web cam, click the link to download and try
