Diane Bapty is a long established Melbourne Jewellery business, producing unique one-off designs in silver and gold. Diane first established her reputation in nineteen sixty nine with the opening of the High St Armadale gallery, which displayed Diane's finely crafted individual work for seventeen years. Work has been sold in galleries around Australia, including the cooperative Cut Paw Paw gallery founded by Diane.

Since nineteen eighty six Diane displays through other galleries, holds one exhibition each December and works from commission because demand has made a permanent shop unnecessary.Melbourne people have been collecting Diane Bapty's work since she opened her own gallery in High St. Armadale, in 1969. Her work has appeared in local and national exhibitions, including the annual Northern Territory Acquisition Exhibition in Alice Springs.

Pieces vary from rings, bracelets, earrings, necklaces and stylised brooches and are always wearable as well as aesthetic.

Diane's clients come from a broad spectrum of Australia - premiers, lawyers, artists and workers, all whom return to be intrigued and inspired once more.
