This formula contains a balanced complex of vitamins and hormones which provide the necessary stimulants for healthy orchid growth. Vitamins B1 (Thiamine HCl), B2 (Riboflavin), Vitamin P (Niacin or Nicotinic acid), Inositol and a-Naphthalene acetic acid are standard ingredients of flasking media and their frequent absence in composts or in plaque cultures hinders normal growth. VITAGROW-H is not a fertilizer but promotes the optimum response to your standard fertilizer program. It is especially useful during cool periods when fertilizer requirements are minimal but when healthy growth should be maintained.
The auxin (hormone) a-Naphthalene-acetic acid promotes healthy root development in any plant and counteracts transplanting shock, especially of seedlings.
pH: Standard orchid culture requires water that is neutral
or slightly acid. 6.5 is ideal! If the water or
compost for your orchids is above 7 or below 6, the absorption
of water and any nutrients will be
seriously curtailed. Adjust water to 6.5! ( See
American Orchid Society Bulletin August 1982, pp
636-841)
DIRECTIONS:
Add 1mL of VITAGROW-H to 4.5 Litres of fertilizer mixture.
Add every time you normally fertilize your orchids. Keep this plant stimulant
and any bottle labelled "vitamins" away from children and pets. Use only
as directed. Shake well before using. "Good growing"
