Brimin Park Pty. Ltd. was established in 1989 to develop a worldwide vehicle for expansion of the Australian operations of the recycling business known as Ferntree Gully Recycling Centre.
Unfortunately there is very little financial reward for Australian companies trying to be innovative in this field. Therefore in order to supplement the local income, Brimin Park broadened its activity to become involved in import and export activities as well as international environmental activities. ( Specializing in aerobic composting of organic wastes - thanks to some great training by Joe Lopez-Real at the Wye college campus of the University of London ) We also broadened our "recycling" activity to include working in closeouts, deleted stock and heavily reduced clearance items.
This expansion was slow and our mistakes were many in the early years of international trade. Still, the business survived these problems and we have continued to refine and improve our network of contacts and range of activities in a number of industries.
The current activity of our trading division is marketing Australian made food from Australia. This is preservative free, artificial colour free, flavour enhancer free and nor genetically modified. Ideal for importers and suppliers to trade buyers such as 5 star hotels, hospitals, caterers and airlines, these excellent tasting products are extremely good value with no waste. From ice-creams, biscuits, jams and savouries to full portion controlled ( frozen ) meal selections, what we offer is great for those wanting to meet allergy sensitive feeding regimes without boring taste.
Due to the recent decline in the status of the world economy, we are now looking for new manufactured food products to work with from both an import and export perspective.
In 1998 we began a marketing association with an Australian company called CTA International Pty Ltd ( see www.ATD.au.com ) and we began marketing a range of TV sets, DVD players, and other brown and white goods. This was initially very successful but the crash in the price of electronic items means it is hardly worth the effort to bring new products into Australia. In the last few years we have been working in a joint venture with CTA to bring low energy lighting and solar technology items to the Australian market. Unfortunately this is also a slow process as most Australians fail to realise the importance of reducing greenhouse gas emissions
Now and since 2004 our main cash-flow activity is the manufacture and distribution of furniture. The products branded:"Brimin Park" are the latest styles of commercial cafe tables with powder coated or chromed metal frames and a good range of bar-stools and chairs to match the tables. A new range in stainless steel chairs has now been produced and the quality is becoming first rate. We may never be the cheapest, and we may never be the absolute best, but we do promise to be consistently GOOD VALUE and address any problems as soon as they arise. We can supply our own designs or we can make your designs under exclusive arrangements if you prefer.
In our latest development we have opened an office in Guangzhou, China to act as a sourcing/translation/inspection/shipping service for other companies worldwide that want to enter the China market but dont have the resources to do it on their own and who dont want to make all the mistakes we made in early years. This is intially meant for companies in the furniture business that do not want our styles, but we are also working in environmental, scientific and other consumer industries where we have experience and skills. We are also offering an escorted tour service to companies and individuals wishing to vist Guangzhou for trade fairs or other business.
